IE:

Then go by Vaxx % with raw numbers

Then you can go by percentage by age group too...

It's 66 million, eligible people who are unvaccinated. You're missing ineligible children 0-11, about 48 million people. So, 114 million unvaccinated, which is a lot of virus food. 100 million with a prior infection is ballpark, probably a little higher (110-120?). There is no good estimate of people w/ a prior infection who have been vaccinated, that I'm aware of. If, I had to guess I'd say 1/3 of the unvacinated have a prior infection, since ~1/3 of the US pop has had a prior infection. If, anyone has seen an estimate, I'd love to see it. So, 92 million people with no protection, then add in reinfections and vaccine breakthrough cases, we are no where near herd immunity.

I'm actually in the we will never reach herd immunity camp, covid will become endemic, and everyone will eventually get it. I'd much rather be vaccinated than not, when it is my turn.

Children have very limited ACE2 receptors so are "protected" by being hard to infect.

Having a robust immune system is very protective and for 400,000 years of human history has gotten us through countless viral assaults.

General health practices which reduce or eliminate comorbidities greatly improves ones prospects.

Social distancing works.

Properly fitted N95 (or better) masks and eye protection work.

All kinds of protection readily available without the need to resort to coerced deployment of leaky, Mareks disease inducing, variant breeding, immune system crashing, untried, improperly tested , experimental, big pharma profit generating poison shots that still do not prevent infection or viral tansmission and VAERS data proof of extraordinaryly common adverse reactions. Seriously, what kind of rational thinking even marginally informed person would think getting jabbed is "protection"?

If the Vax did anything for herd immunity, between the number vaxxed and natural immunity we're well past reaching herd immunity. There's just not enough unvaxxed and never exposed to the virus folks left to be spreading it to each other. Basically cities should be entirely virus free by now, with the virus fizzling out in the suburbs, and still making its rounds in rural areas. But that is not what we have been seeing the last couple months.
