When requesting an accommodation you need to provide your suggested/requested accommodation that allows the institution to meet the goals/purpose of the thing you are requesting an exemption from.1 Corinthians 2:2

I have assisted family and friends with UC and Cal State religious exemptions, and the focus has been on the aborted fetal cell tissue used in the manufacture, testing and development of the experimental injections.
You do not need to be a lawyer to successfully file for a waiver, I suggest using the templates available after reviewing the materials as appropriate for your student:
