I have 11 ready. They're the 1000 and I break em in half. For those of you new to NAC start slow. I have metal poisoning and this is what the doc said to take. I was on it while we had covid. Yes I think it helped considering what my labs were.

Not seeing a lot of actual evidence in that paper. They reference five trials, but they're all tiny and none have gotten anywhere.

This doesn't mean that it won't help, of course, just that it's a bit of a shot in the dark. Hopefully you can find a physician who'll work with you on these things.

Oh and I found that the now brand works the best IMO and it's cheaper.
Just so people know FDA is trying to make this a drug now and thats why it's pulled from the market. Amazon pulled it about 5 months ago. I had to find a new source.

N acetylcystine has been a prescription medication for awhile. It’s use for Tylenol ingestion, as a respiratory mucylytic and several other uses was documented decades before Covid.

This isn’t a FDA conspiracy to prevent you from
Covid treatment. This has always been the long standing practice for the FDA to stop open sale of a prescription item.

Maybe because a lot of gullible people read about it on the internet and started overdosing on it thinking they could cure COVID

Because CGs is not the only one with the internet. If it floats to the top for CG, it floats to the top of their attention too. Prescription items being sold without a prescription is always clamped down by the FDA.

I dunno if it works for covid.
The doctor I talk to (he's in Alaska) told me to take it for metal poisoning. I've done so for a year daily. We got covid and like I said if covid is that bad I don't know how I'm here. I can post my labs before surgery and after surgery and covid. My labs are no longer in the red.
So I've have been on NAC for a year.
Had surgery where they scraped my tissue for 45 min and removed hardware. Made me sicker.
4 months post surgery got covid. Tested for covid and flu A B separate to make sure it was covid.
Recovered from covid with no medical care.

People have been taking NAC for YEARS before covid at MUCH higher doses than I take it. You will also see your skin clear up and find you have less Grey hair.

Take it or don't. Just my experience.

Must smell like rotten eggs. I am curious for many the smell is beyond tolerable when ingesting. What do you do to make it tolerable?

Naw the wife says she can't smell anything different. Maybe I always stunk haha.
