I'm a communist, left wing, America hating, child-killing, pro-vaccine, anti-freedom nazi (miss anything?), and I think seatbelts is a terrible analogy. Injuries sustained in a car accident are not infectious. Your not wearing a seatbelt doesn't increase the probability that other drivers will be injured or killed in a car accident.

If the vax works then the unvaxed are not a danger to he vaxed. Forcing people to get vaxed causes mistrust and dissuades people.

I discovered that the JJ vax is causing guillain barre syndrome. This may be why they are pushing it off the market.

Where have we seen thisn before? Swine flu 1976. They withdrew the vaccine because of >50 cases of guillain barre syndrome. They let the flu run it course. It turned out fine.

Today we have thousands of serious adverse reactions, and deaths directly caused by the vaccinations. Now, we are taking a different tact. Cover it up. Do not report problems, or else. You have just dispelled this "genius" theory without even having to dive much below the surface of the issue.

We can throw in the fact that this is a medical therapy, so any "proper analogy" will need to be a medical procedure.

As a supplemental issue, how many times have you been threatened that you can't have a job unless you get a seat belt-even if you don't have a car or you already crashed your car and haven't replaced it? How many times have you been told that your child can't go to school until they also get a seat belt, even if they are small enough that seat belts shouldn't be used?

Well, ANYONE pushing a 100% compliance to any medical treatment qualifies as a moron. There is NO medical treatment that should ever be applied without a proper risk/benefit analysis.

Water? Someone currently in danger of brainstem herniation due to hyponatremia shouldn't get that, nor is it the appropriate choice for a drowning victim.

Oxygen? Ok, well you might argue "air", but high doses of inspired oxygen are toxic and should be used only if absolutely necessary.

Temperature treatments? Sure, but outside of the zone that supports human life, a patient found passed out in Central Park in February probably doesn't need active cooling while a football player suffering from heat stroke doesn't need warming therapies.

From those basic elements/compounds, things only get more dicey.
