Fear Inspired Abbreviated Trial Phases

Obviously, Warp Speed intended to shrink trial timelines (not good).
At the time, Trump and most (not me) Americans and governments were demanding something. Under Biden they approved because they saw people were flocking to the non approved EUA vaccine developed under Trump. They figured approval would bring the rest of us into concurrance.. And they were wrong. The rest of us who didn't fear COVID and those that don't trust the vaccine are in the attackable minority.
Difference is Trump would not have issued mandates after all this time, realizing we can simply live with COVID, as the red states do. Realizing many people don't fear COVID, and realizing many people don't trust an abbreviated trial vaccine. And it's NOT a national emergency.

Talk of mass vaccination only occurred after Biden won* the election. Under Trump, the vax was only for the most vulnerable, and certain jobs where you face higher exposure, and only if you chose to take a chance on the shots.

I still think that was the correct approach. Let people who want to take the risk of a rushed vaccine make the choice for themselves, based on their own circumstances. Leave it at that.

I agree, people should have a choice. The problem is we have a dishonest media and government that is coercing/lying/fooling people into taking the poison. And if enough people partake of it, their decision will ultimately affect us negatively. You know, create a crisis, provide the solution.
