I concur, I think what is his doing is invalidating the PCR test which invalids all the numbers we know, the root is these PCR test and whoever suggested it, that's why we have "big" numbers, we never tested for the flu in the masses either, which people fail to realize.Comment

The Dr. Derek Knauss this story is widely attributed to unfortunately doesn't appear to exist, nor does the lawsuit. This appears to be a hoax.
It is important if you're against the covid measures to not justify your position with hoaxes. There's plenty of real stories, facts, and studies to support that position without hoaxes. You'll just feed ammunition to your opponents.Comment

The post then goes on to claim that Oswald said that the virus "is just another flu strain like every year" and that COVID-19 "does not exist and is fictitious." It adds that Cornell is allegedly suing the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for fraud because it would not provide the university with a viable COVID-19 sample...Comment

If you're referring to the article I linked to, it wasn't about dealing with the claims. It was about who it was attributed to. If you note stix213's post, the name he's referencing is...
I don't know where stix213 got the name, but, for me, it comes up here... Laboratories in US can’t find Covid-19 in one of 1,500 positive tests. Now, note the date on the piece... 11/4/2021. We haven't reached that date, yet. Message from the future? Typo? (There was a 'Scam Alert' put out back in April which also cited that name... The article from December 2020 says "Robert Oswald, a professor at Cornell University," then, just a bit later, notes...
That comment was posted by... Anonymous... and states......The first version of the claim appears to be on Dec. 7, when a user shared the statement to Facebook and wrote that he "pulled it from the comments at a website" and did not attribute the information to Oswald. The user likely found the statement in the comment section of blog site wadeburleson.org. In a message to USA TODAY, the user said his post is just "speculation" and "freedom of thought."...
Snopes also identifies that anonymous comment in relation to debunking the claim that Dr. Oswald is responsible. Snopes claims to have contacted Oswald and here is a portion of his reply (I've made hotlinks out of those he provided)...“I have a PhD in virology and immunology. I'm a clinical lab scientist and have tested 1500 "supposed" positive Covid 19 samples collected here in S. California. When my lab team and I did the testing through Koch's postulates and observation under a SEM (scanning electron microscope), we found NO Covid in any of the 1500 samples. What we found was that all of the 1500 samples were mostly Influenza A and some were influenza B, but not a single case of Covid, and we did not use the B.S. PCR test. We then sent the remainder of the samples to Stanford, Cornell, and a few of the University of California labs and they found the same results as we did, NO COVID. They found influenza A and B. All of us then spoke to the CDC and asked for viable samples of COVID, which CDC said they could not provide as they did not have any samples.
We have now come to the firm conclusion through all our research and lab work, that the COVID 19 was imaginary and fictitious. The flu was called Covid and most of the 225,000 dead were dead through co-morbidities such as heart disease, cancer, diabetes, emphysema etc. and they then got the flu which further weakened their immune system and they died. I have yet to find a single viable sample of Covid 19 to work with. We at the 7 universities that did the lab tests on these 1500 samples are now suing the CDC for Covid 19 fraud. the CDC has yet to send us a single viable, isolated and purifed sample of Covid 19. If they can't or won't send us a viable sample, I say there is no Covid 19, it is fictitious.
The four research papers that do describe the genomic extracts of the Covid 19 virus never were successful in isolating and purifying the samples. All the four papers written on Covid 19 only describe small bits of RNA which were only 37 to 40 base pairs long which is NOT A VIRUS. A viral genome is typically 30,000 to 40,000 base pairs. With as bad as Covid is supposed to be all over the place, how come no one in any lab world wide has ever isolated and purified this virus in its entirety? That's because they've never really found the virus, all they've ever found was small pieces of RNA which were never identified as the virus anyway. So what we're dealing with is just another flu strain like every year, COVID 19 does not exist and is fictitious. I believe China and the globalists orchestrated this COVID hoax (the flu disguised as a novel virus) to bring in global tyranny and a worldwide police totalitarian surveillance state, and this plot included massive election fraud to overthrow Trump”

If you do a Google search, you will find the OP's video was posted as far back as February 2021 on BitChute. Again, no attribution is proffered.The contents are just completely wrong. The virus is incredibly well studied with many full genome sequences from patients, contrary to the suggestion that only 40 or so nucleotides have been sequenced. Not only that, but the molecular structure of at least the spike protein of the virus has been solved by cryo-EM (one of our former students is an author on this work): https://science.sciencemag.org/content/367/6483/1260
So to suggest that no virus actually exists is just false.
An AFP Fact Check article from January notes that, so far as they can determine, it appears on a website... IntoTheLight.news. The source link there goes to another blog site (you have to scroll down to find the piece). In fact, that was the thrust of the AFP Fact Check piece; i.e., to demonstrate how it was spreading, but that Dr. Oswald and Cornell were flatly denying it or that there is any lawsuit, at least that they have filed.
The point is that the source for those claims is being variously credited and/or the true author is deliberately looking to avoid public recognition for it.
In short, if no one is willing to put their name on it, there's little chance it will be taken seriously and less chance that anyone of consequence is going to make the effort to do a detailed analysis in addressing the claim(s). Likewise, as stix213 observes, it is perilous to hang one's hat on an anonymously sourced declaration which provides no documentation as 'proof' that this is all a 'scam.' It makes it far too easy for those you are arguing against to simply 'dismiss' the claims, with prejudice and just cause, without addressing the claims themselves.Comment

Sorry, I searched for phrases from the video, and found what appeared to be the exact wording reposted between April and July of this year on many blog sites and less than credible looking news sites. They often attributed it to a Dr. Derek Knauss.
One example
When searching for his name or his lawsuit you mostly find people trying to find out who he is as well, with no one successful and no evidence of the lawsuit. You'll also find the usual fact checking sites, but they all said Russian collusion was real, so I don't bother looking at those.
