Blood transfusion = vax by surrogate ?

I just looked at the current FAQ section of my local blood bank web site. Says donations allowed w/o any deferral time after new COVID vaxes. I've never needed a blood transfusion but does this mean you can get a dose of mRNA or spike proteins from a transfusion?

    SDBB.org
COVID-19 VACCINATION: Starting Jan 15, the following COVID-19 vaccines are permitted without a deferral period: AstraZeneca, Janssen/Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, Novavax and Pfizer. Learn more.

This should be something studied, but I'm sure hasn't.

What I assume happens if blood is donated months after they received the vax, is you'll get vaccine related antibodies, but are unlikely to get any of the mRNA from the original vax, or any spike.

If blood is donated immediately after receiving the vax, it should be be like getting a small dose of the vax itself.

Good blood or bad blood. If you need a transfusion of blood do you have a choice?

Isn't good blood v bad blood is a responsibility of the blood supplier not passed off as a "choice" to the patient. Have you seen the list of questions a donor must answer and sign before donating as a protection to screen for bad blood? I think every pint is still tested for HIV antibodies to protect the blood supply even though its been decades since the original outbreak and the deaths it caused by bad transfusions. I like choices and freedoms how about you?
