It may be due to poor care or just the fact that this physician is an intensivist and thus sees only the most extremely ill patients. Losing 100 during an almost 2 year pandemic isn't necessarily that huge a total for someone doing a ton of hospital care.

It would not be hard to find a doctor who was "in charge" of a hospital that had a 100 covid deaths; since 650,000 people died and every one is so eager to put cause of death as "covid" for financial reasons (see the story about the man who lost his mom here) I'm pretty sure several "doctors" actual bureaucrats oversaw the death of a 100 +1. Compared to what?
