Anyone who is unvaxed had a kid lately?

We are expecting our 3rd kid in December. Both me and the wife are unvaxed for obvious reasons. As we get close to making the final appts and scheduling for the C-section her Dr offices and obgyn and starting to really lean on her and me to get the vaccine because if we don't, my wife will be treated like she has the plauge. They are telling us that since she is unvaxed that she will be placed in a negative pressure room by herself the entire time after the procedure and if she displays any symptoms of the vid, they would have to remove the baby from her. Yeah.... Not happening. They also said that I might be able to be there for the procedure only if I produce a negative covid test and I have no symptoms. But I will have to leave after she and the kid are placed in isolation. Of course this is very stressful for me and the wifey.

The craziest crap the obgyn said was if my wife went into labor, she would have to have a negative covid test before she was let into the hospital. Lol wtf? Can anyone confirm or deny this happening in this state?

Tri-City hospital requires that for all admissions other than ER.

It's not just maternity.

My wife and I both had to be vaxxed in order for her to get health care other than ER. Vax or test every 72 hours.

You can find in-home birth help, doulas, or birthing centers that don’t give a crap about any of those. Hospital birthing isn’t the only option.

Had a friend recently give birth last month and you either had to be vaccinated or negative test result within the last 72 hours.

Sutter Roseville was masks as of a month ago. My best friend had a baby and his girl wasn't vaxed. They pushed but she said no.
In the end no one could go in except the father.

We had a girl last may, delivered by kaiser in the bay area. We were told to expect all sorts of crazy rules and requirements. When the day came it was just like our previous kiddos birth just less a few people on staff. We were even told we could be maskless in delivery and in our suite. No other requirements or restrictions other than no visitors, which we prefer.

Not too sure how my wife would get it without her knowing it. But my wife is more against this particular vaccine than I am. We are a pro vaccine family normally.

Wife got tested a few days before delivery, she was negative. Went to the hospital in the morning, she was opened up & the 3 of us went to our room. Same as the two that came before. Only difference was we were limited to 1 visitor this time.

So let me get this straight . . . Wife goes into labor, tests positive, the hospital will refuse treatment? While she's already in the midst of labor?
