    I'll have to check my Mom's as well, but I'm pretty sure it will say Covid-even though she died well over 3 years ago.

        A similar thing happened to my Dad. As he was dying from dementia he was COVID tested weekly for months, all negative. After he went into hospice he suddenly tested positive, and his death was ruled COVID related.

        Our family was finally able to visit him once in hospice, and the facility let us hug/kiss/hold him without anyone being masked (we got the positive test results 3 days seeing him). Oddly enough before being able to see him everyone had to be rapid tested on site.
