With that being said, a group of parents came together and made a petition.

Reminds me of the episode of The Sopranos where Tony wanted to take out the coach for doing this and Artie was gonna go do it himself , but realize it was wrong after thinking it through. He told Tony to call off the hit, and somehow it got through. I suggest you use that episode as a guidance, but that's me,and that is just TV, it's a free world, but being there for family is key.

Big fan of the Sopranos but it’s been about 15 years… I’ll have to revisit that episode.

Welcome, thank you for doing what is right! I wish I can say more but don't wanna spoiler anymore than I did. All I I can say is Artie was probably the only one that had the balls/influence to mess with the boss, pretty evident in this episode, being childhood friends all the way, makes complete sense.
