          QR code readers work similar to a bar code reader at your grocery store, except they are 2D instead of 1D. The only way a QR code reader is going to pick anything up is if you had your vax pass tattooed there.

          As far as Bluetooth, even if it were all true they wouldn't choose a widely available consumer protocol. They would come up with a proprietary one.
