An upside to Covid deaths ? Social Security funds

We all know Social Security will have to pay the piper soon than later.

https://www.ssa.gov/oact/trsum/ per SSA Trustee's annual report:
"Social Security and Medicare both face long-term financing shortfalls under currently scheduled benefits and financing. Both programs will experience cost growth substantially in excess of GDP growth through the mid-2030s due to rapid population aging."

Per the CDC and MSM >600,000 Americans have already died from Covid or about 1 in 500 people. However >80% of the deaths are among people of retirement age per latest data from our beloved Calif gov. see chart below.

As someone who will start collecting SS in a few months, after paying near max into it for over 40 years, I sure hope all those young new immigrants get jobs and start paying their taxes.

That's not how it works in reality. Our social security will go to funding the migrants families so they can have ten kids each.

I don't think it's enough to matter. Remember some were going to die anyways pretty soon or flu as well.

The more elderly they kill the more money they free up to fund the Communist mercenaries, er refugees. Our best weapon is to stay healthy and fck them as long and hard as possible, heh, after purposely minimizing taxable income, not real income, to minimize contributions to their ponzi scheme. God bless Trump I read his book decades ago.

I'll be impressed by how they cook the books to dial back that expected record COLA this coming January. It's expected to harken back to the Carter era of inflation that Reagan inherited. Cha ching!

Yeah, not sure the impact is as significant as they are trying to make it out to be… what about survivor benefits?

With libs deleing out the cash and printing fiat cash. It will go broke.

That is why congress has thier own pay and benefit plans.

Doubt that will put a dent into the 6 trillion of funny money we have been printing up last year and this year

And speaking of SS, I’m having to give serious consideration whether to start taking it at early eligibility, just over a year from now, or wait it out. Right now the way things are going, I’m thinking I may start when I can as I’m not entirely certain it will be there if I choose to wait.

Need a lot more of the middle-to-late baby-boomer generation to die off before it will make a difference (meaning those born from about 1945 to 1957). Ain't so far, they're just not hitting the skids yet and COVID hasn't really done 'em in.

I’m waiting until I hit 70 this December. I’m fortunate in that I had plenty of work through my 60’s and I enjoyed the work. In the meantime, I’m on my wife’s SS. When I finally go on my SS, I’ll be getting nearly 3800/month.
