Today we are at 7.9 billion people. We added almost 2 billion people just during the time period of the Afghanistan war. We keep this up we'll pass 10 billion people probably in 15 years or so. At some point this level of population growth becomes unsustainable, when resources like food and fuel become scarce world wars are fought over less.
Elites know this is a huge problem, and know that a China one child policy was a failure, and wouldn't be allowed in most the world anyway. Put yourself in their shoes, what really is a practical solution? It totally makes sense elites would opt for a Thanos Snap rather than put in the hard work of convincing people they need to stop making so many babies.
But I totally agree there is no evidence this is the plan. It is just conspiracy theories, the occasional quote from a billionaire elite, an identified problem without another solution, the paranoia created by government over a virus that is mostly harmless to healthy people, and a difficult to explain coordinated campaign to promote only the experimental vaccine to the exclusion of all other treatment options.
Circumstantial evidence at best, and unfounded conspiracy theory at worst. You're correct it is far from fact, at least established fact, but it does totally make sense.
(I personally don't "believe" this is the case, I need to see some real evidence. But the behavior of everyone involved is getting harder and harder to come up with an alternate explanation which fits what we are witnessing)
