I'm in the UK right now, and they're big on the self-tests. Doesn't matter if vax, to get in some events have to have a "lateral flow" test, which is a DIY swab, mix in liquid, drop on a test card thing. Takes about 20 minutes. The tests are free. I've done four in the last week and a half, but there's really no masking or anything.

Sounds like it's better than many parts of the USA.

Here in TX everything is 'open' but there are a lot of die-hard maskers running around, voluntary breathing their own stale air

UK is still pretty much a no covid requirement nation. I saw one user mention they had to do a lateral flow, I suspect the venue they went to independently required it not the gov.

I flew to Malta this summer and that was still difficult. Had to wait in line for health paperwork to be processed. For my return to the UK, I had to take a lateral flow about 72 hours in advance and then 48 hours after landing...so there are still international rules in place at the moment.
Everyone on Calguns keeps talking about TDS. I never knew we had so many fish keepers!

The TDS on my 10gallon tanks 110ppm
The TDS on my 29 gallon tank is 150ppm (due to substrate)

Correct, not Gov required, event required (though these events are with the UK Military). With the testing, no masks required at event, and they don't ask/care about vax status. The tests are free at any pharmacy, they'll hand you a box of seven tests just for asking. The catch-22 is that in order for it to "count" you have to register your results with the Gov NHS website. It's still self-report, you just click "my test was negative", and they text you back with the results you entered. The text is your "proof" for entry to the event.
UK Gov is still requiring masks for public transit (taxis, buses, the tube) and most workers at restaurants etc. will be wearing them. Public wearing is minimal. Travel into UK is rough though, no vax requires 10 day quarantine. Vax still requires pre-flight PCR, and post-flight PCR.
