My kids go to private school. One in particular is dying to implement vax mandates, regardless of what the school board dictates. All they require, however, is a photo of your vax card. Many of the students have taken only one shot. They took the liberty of filling out the rest themselves, then they submitted a photo of that card to the school. Those without cards are taking weekly tests, but it seems the testing is haphazard and poorly documented. What is certain, however, is that the Head of the School plans to force everyone to adjust to the "new normal" (his words) a few degrees at a time.

Planning a trip to Texas during the kids next week off, will be making a drive up to Boise, Arizona and Florida are also options, not really interested in hotter weather, some snow would be fine, kids are wearing masks at school in Idaho, that's a deal breaker for now, but I'm exploring options.

Newsom just announced his 4-5 days ag0 , he is going to repay "recall voters" with more mandates and Pfizer is working on this vaccine, and trending topics isvaxxing tbe kids, let's put one and two together and conspire...

I think he going to use his kids to blamed the unvaccinated, we need to do more, vax the kids, more vax for unvaxed, its gonna get to the point where you get brownie points for reporting who hasnt been vaxxed, thats the goal right?

I only see one good news with this is that i know many "left " parents that got the vax for their kid , to protect them, so yep, they gonna piss a bunch of their own off this time, and the hitler.of the soildiers of the world will never admit their wrong so the program countinues.

I have two young ones, 9 & 12, fortunately I can afford private school and they are now in a Christian school, so far so good.

However the private schools here in CA have to abide by state law, the kids aren't forced to wear masks outdoors like at the public schools and they can use plexiglass in the classrooms, as silly as it sounds it's better than my kids wearing a mask and that makes it worth the cost of admission.

But the writing is on the wall, the LA district mandating the jab for kids 12 and up will soon spread to other district and may become a statewide mandate, private school will have to implement the same requirements.

I'm prepared to home school when it comes to that, moving is still on the table, I'm willing to see how it shakes out though, but just the thought of the future ahead isn't very good.

My predictions:

1. Covid jab required to go to school for all kids
2. Covid passport required to do everything
3. Covid passport required for work

What the hell else is left, I don't need to get on a plane, I don't need to eat at a restaurant or go to an entertainment event, I do need to work and I'd like for my kids to be able to go to school.

My grandson is in the poway school district. COVID exposures are constant. If a child is unvaccinated, they must quarantine for 10 days with each exposure. My grandson has had to quarantine once already in this new school year. There is no zoom option. You miss school. I can imagine highschool juniors and seniors with rigorous classes... It's not easy to miss 10 days ever other month due to covid exposure. They'll need the vax if they want to keep up with the other kids and get instruction.

My granddaughter goes to a private preschool. They just notified parents that if they are not vaccinated, they are required to mask at the outdoor, distanced parent night at the school. They warned that they are planning for unvaccinated parents to not be allowed on campus before the end of the school year. So no vax, you don't get to see your kid graduate from pre school. They are also "discouraging" playdates at the homes of unvaccinated parents. What world do we live in? In all cases, not one single kid has had anything worse than a cough.

They will shame you. They will ostracize you. They will encourage the entire community to do the same. They will be shills and do Biden's work for him. They must protect the vaccinated from the unvaccinated. They must protect the children, who never get severe symptoms, from the MAGA hoards out to infect them
