People intuitively understand that when the government mandates everyone take a new gene therapy treatment with marginal testing, significant side effects (including death) and questionable efficacy, to ward off a disease with a 99% survival rate, something is dangerously wrong.

Trump was scammed. Everything happened so fast. People all over the world were terrified out of their wits (not me). Shut everything down. Huge lines at the grocery stores. NY screaming for hospital ships..
How could Trump know otherwise? He's not an infectious disease specialist. He worked off advisors, as all Presidents.. not as much as Biden though. He believed there was a severe problem yet he personally and rightfully resisted masking and distancing and shutdowns, and mandated nothing.
