We've seen the protests, however a wide majority agree with their police state lockdowns

"Australians are concerned about any “living with Covid” strategy that would lead to a significant increase in hospitalisations and deaths – and a majority in the latest Guardian Essential poll think governments should not end current lockdowns until a substantial proportion of children are fully vaccinated."

I am glad to be here with our living with COVID policy

so I'm in the UK right now, and (though I'm not following their politics of it) things are fairly normal-ish considering. Masks are "recommended" and I see maybe 10-20% of people wearing them. Nothing is closed that I can tell. Dine-in eating is all open, though servers wear masks. You can participate in a contact-tracing program (gov't tracking) by "checking in" at places you go by scanning a qr code from your phone. Every store has one posted, but I've not seen anyone actually do it. All in all is basically the same as back in San Diego. Interestingly they seem to have the same labor shortage issues, I see signs everywhere "now hiring" and a few food places I've seen saying they are takeaway only due to staff shortage.

for citizens living here? don't know. Travelers have to have vaccine, or quarantine. Plus pre-departure negative test, and after arrival negative test. Quite a hassle.

I did learn this afternoon, the local city has free wifi throughout downtown. But their filters block firearm pages, like calguns. Limey pansies.

It's not about 'human life', it's about control.

Look up how many babies are killed via abortion, how many die of starvation. Many times more than from the 'covid' (the new Flu.) These politicians don't give a crap about anyone.

Crazy to think they had one lockdown already and still had cases, now they are in another one..

I really don't understand how Australians tolerate this. These people need to read the Bible.

                    Let's let them suffer.

What's even worse is all the tolerance we've had for own tyrannical government - the one that was installed after a coup.

It seems like the lockdowns didn't stop the virus. Huh. Strange!
Where the people fear the government you have tyranny. Where the government fears the people you have liberty.

Good thing the govt took all their guns years ago, otherwise the would never be able to keep the people safely in their hotel rooms.
