Exactly - "exemption" just means they have to try to provide "reasonable" accommodation - with the "reasonable" meaning is it "reasonable" for the employer or business to provide the exempted person with an accommodation.
Allowing a person to work remotely/from home would be the most obvious reasonable accommodation.
The question is, can the job or access can't be performed remotely?
- If the job requires being on site and interacting with other co-workers, or customers, then working remotely/from home is not going to work.
- You can't fly in an airplane sitting at home.
I will not be surprised if there is no accommodation offered in situations like the two shown above.1 Corinthians 2:2
