In short, if you are vaccinated, you CAN get the disease and you CAN spread the disease, but your chances of being hospitalized or killed by it drop by 90+ %. THAT is the reason you get vaccinated.

Interesting point about Comirnaty and the fact that the FDA says it is approved but not available. If it were available it would require cancellation of the other vaccines' EUA. You cannot continue with an EUA if there is a viable, available alternative.:
