Wife was diagnosed with the Covid19 [Recovered]

Well... my wife has been feeling 'under the weather' for a few days and Monday she felt like crap. Tuesday she decided to actually call in sick and stayed in bed all day, developed a cough.

Today she hadn't improved and called in sick again, decided to get tested for sake of her colleagues. Positive! She's been a diligent Masker due to work requirements but isn't vaxxed with the faux 'vaccine.'

    The Urgent Care
    - Several other people came in after we did. One lady wanted her kid tested for covid.
    - Another lady said her husband just tested positive and she felt like crap and wanted a test. "We're fully vaccinated, we wear masks... we're very careful." The triage nurse pointed out "Well you can still catch covid even with the vax."

    The doctors/nurses
    - Nurse mentioned that he had the covid last year, wasn't worried
    - Doctor wasn't wearing gloves, only had his mask on half way (ie. not sealed)
    - Doctor also mentioned that the vax doesn't prevent covid, only reduces symptoms. He said everyone coming in has covid.
    - Doc wasn't worried, said go home and get some rest, drink fluids
    - Wife asked about Ivermectin... Doc said "That's for horses, we follow CDC guidelines." (See? SLO & company.... doctors won't bite the hand that feeds.)

    Treatment
    - None from the urgent care except a pat on the back
    - I'm giving her Vit C, Vit D, Quercetin, Zinc, Mucinex
    - Also "Fever Tree" brand genuine Indian Tonic water (*I may be drinking it this afternoon with my gin... )

I'll be looking for Ivermectin online today.

        1. We wear gloves for bodily fluid transfer. Otherwise handwashing is fine.

        2. Pretty sure you misunderstood or have changed the Drs words re covid and immunity. One can become infected by covid, even if vaccinated, or if wearing a mask.

3.Masks do work, sort of. They reduce droplet transmission as it gets caught by the mask. Though people’s donning and doffing of masks needs lots of work, as does the quite imperfect seal of a mask.
Same goes for the vacc. Not 100%, not hardly. But it has been shown by looking at differntial rates of hospitalized vacc v. unvacc (this number is in the tens of thousands if not more so a good population to make this extrapolated assessment
        4. Doctors don’t give drugs that are not FDA approved at risk of losing their license to practice medicine, and/or being sued by those they treat.no surprise.
Same as doctors don’t inject rat crap into someone because some article on poopchute.com says it is a good idea.
        Be glad for that,

5.prior infection does show the infected to acquire antibodies much as the vacc’s do, and protection via acquired immunity is increased
This was discussed in that “lesson” video I posted.
Apparently someone deleted it. May have been from all the abrasive comments, may have been from news people don’t want to hear. Who knows, not my site, not ,y issue,
I won’t post it again though.
Seems to be a loss as it would have really helped some to understand What is going on with the vaccs, who should, who shouldn’t, amd how and why the infection numbers are what they are …

        Last,
Hoping you lady has a very mild case and it doesn’t last long.

Best of luck to your wife, she will do fine because she is married to a Covid 19 obsessive poster, now if you could get away from the keyboard for a second and go get here some chicken noodle soup and some ginger ale that would be good.

            I will make her a non-alcoholic cocktail:
            - Fever Tree tonic (imported from India, only the best)
            - Slice of Lime
            - A couple olives

                she'll be fine.

If this happened two years ago - everyone would be asking wtf are you making a thread.

Well the Doctor is a Koolaid drinking drone. Ivermectin is prescribed all over the word everyday for humans.

You have more of a chance of stroke or heart attack taking Ibuprofen than any side effect from Ivermectin.

Nonetheless, medication interactions, pt current medical conditions and lots of other variables to consider.

Takes 5 minutes to know what a drug is called, it takes lots of training, and knowing how to resource, to know why, how much, when, when to not, and what to look for when administering meds.

But hey, no poimt in listening to those with years of education on a subject, particularly when one can watch a you tube video and become an expert.

                    So I say,

                    Go for it!

Does she wear an N95 or N99 and handle them properly? If she's using anything else...well..."hopium" comes to mind.

Just a cheap 'blue' mask like everyone else. We don't care, just following company orders - to keep the job.

Actually she gave her 2W notice today, will start a new job after Labor Day. Convenient since employer was going to have her 'quarantine' for 2W anyway.

                            I appreciate your posts.

However studies show that Medical Errors are the 3rd leading cause of death.

"Analyzing medical death rate data over an eight-year period, Johns Hopkins patient safety experts have calculated that more than 250,000 deaths per year are due to medical error in the U.S"

So, again I appreciate your views.

But I'm going to question those with "years of education "

                              3. N95 masks with a correct seal and appropriate donning and removal procedures work. Cloth masks do nothing. 3 layer surgical masks can block bacteria, and spit (but sucking through a mask that has trillions of virus particles on it won't do much).

                              4. is nonsense. ivermectin IS FDA approved. It's not 'approved' for off-label use for Covid. Ivermectin is not injected, its administered orally.
It's not just used for horses, its used for scabies and river blindness in humans.

At one point aspirin was used in an off-label setting to thin blood.

Would be interested to know if the doctor was under an HMO (Kaiser etc).
