They have much circumstantial evidence and possible hard data that the virus is lab made and got out, they know it is a nasty mutating virus(it was made that way) and the only way to not get severely ill or die is to have the vaccine to build antibodies that increase your ability to overcome it.
Why they just do not come out and say this so everyone gets on board with it is the question? Probably the fact that our corporate wealthy and their paid for politicians do not want to lose cheap Chinese manufacturing as result of sanction or worse. Or, they turned a health concern into a crisis for regime change purposes and now have to draw it out to save face. Not to mention that they commanded the peasants to do something and not all are obeying so consequences are in order.

I felt early on that this was likely the case, health concern but not a crisis, I still hope that is the case, but dang how long to draw it out to save face ? So what about the virus origin part, it is not lab leak, or it is, but the diet coke of bioweapons so no need for public health countermeasures? My understanding is that no animal populations in the wild have been shown to carry the Covid 19 virus so that supports lab created origin.

This is a mild flu-like virus related to the common cold. The healthy and young will not be affected by it. The elderly, sick and obese should protect themselves.

Lies! Hundreds of millions have recovered without the so-called vaccine. The death rate is below 1% of those infected. The overall death rate for the human race from this virus is 0.0005%. Only 2.6% of the human race has ever contracted this virus over the last 18 months, and that's using a test that cannot distinguish between the difference between the corona virus family and the influenza virus family.
