    Unions making the stand

Today Sacramento’s Firefighter Union posted their stance. It was great to see a large union in the state make a public notice on the stance of making our own medical choices.

Today our union (we are on the smaller side of departments) followed suit and made a public notice of sharing the same stance as Local 522.

I hope unions can start coming together and making a stance against these mandates. We need PD, teachers, nurses, firefighter, ems, public works, etc unions making a stance and when it goes to court, joining the fight together.

Any other unions making public notice?

I used to have a strongly-held low opinion of government unions (particularly police, fire, and Bart) and I did not think anything would every change that. I also lived next door to a suburban fire station for many years and thought they had a significantly larger than normal percentage of a-holes working in that profession and as it seemed to attract that personality type. But these vaccine mandates are so offensive that it is immensely heartening to see any organized groups standing against them. And the personality traits of the kind of person who would put out fires for a living, also seem to prevent them from falling into the current hysteria of fear over a virus with a death rate of around 0.02% or less for the typical working-age person.

I'm guessing they will be made to bend to will.

Unions were a good (notice I didn't say great) idea at the beginning. But have become nothing more than a cash cow for the Liberal/Marxist.

Rebuke your union. Fight against them! Or we get what we deserve. And so far.....well, you know.
I will stand for truth even if I stand alone.

The only thing that is worse than an idiot, is someone who argues with one.

Called my union Friday, left a message. Rep left me a message back that he's gotten a ton of angry calls and that the union will be releasing a statement soon. I have no illusions that'll amount to anything though.

I have a relative who is a firefighter/paramedic in San Francisco. She's been resisting getting the shot but now they have told her they will fire her if she doesn't get the Vax by next week.

I love how certain groups feel that they are more equal than the rest of us.

Unions distort the marketplace for their benefit, without any benefit for the rest of us.

Union guys are typically democrats who vote for their advantage, without the slightest concern for the nation as a whole...

Unions are bad for America and our country...

Newsome may treat union members like Reagan treated air traffic control union members.

                    That's true.

But then again, the people who are now issuing diktats were elected by these same unions in the first place. Let that sink in for a second.

I hope they can hold the line. To me some of these groups have more power because they can quit and get jobs elsewhere.

For the record my wife works with a fairly high risk clientele and nobody from her work got COVID from work and they've been at it 100% since the beginning, large organization too. Yet now her employee is also talking about a mandate.

Every union member who believes in freedom needs to send this to thier reps and get every member to do the same.

All my friends in the construction industry are reporting that the private sector unions are telling them to go along with this and get vaccinated and they won't stand up for them. They say the big tech and pharma companies run the show.

The only unions even slightly pushing back are public sector.
