On this subject they'll lose and lose quickly. The state has pre-emption, so local laws cannot be passed. The state law takes effect sometime in September, so these stupid virtue-signalling schools will have mask mandates for a few weeks after school starts. The really stupid cities, like Tucson, will probably try to keep them going after the new law takes effect. They'll be sued by the state, lose like they always do, and cost their residents big bucks in court costs (losers pay costs for both sides).

Yes and what do they personally lose for knowingly going against the law and will of the people?

They need to pass a state law allowing parents to beat school board members to death. Problem solved.

            Could be worse.

Marin Co. school district just mandated the vax for all employees and children over 12.

School boards are arguably more influential than what goes on at the federal level.
