They have been since last year. They first theorized that some US military personnel brought the virus to Wuhan in October of 2019, during a athletic competition. Now they're blaming the virus came from a US bio lab in Texas. They want WHO to investigate the said lab (which was closed some time ago, I believe).

CCP is lying. There were reports of makeshift crematoriums in Wuhan in early 2020, because otherwise, bodies would pile in the streets.

Hell I remember estimates at the time were like 50k dead in the first 3 months when estimating via number of urns and crematoriums running 24/7, vs normal rates. Epoch Times (heavily anti CCP) ran a story on this (they feed being an official and convinced a crematorium worker to give them numbers).

It was so bad the air quality was worse than usual due to number of crematoriums running.

This was the dark days when people literally dropped dead in the street in China.
