I've had a 'mandatory' test, so has one of my kids. Call in sick from work? Get tested. Call in sick from school? Get tested, can't come back till it's negative.

Yeah, I'm on board with that.
I had some minor cold symptoms and wanted to get tested for covid just out of curiosity. But I had no shortness of breath or loss of taste. Even if it was covid, I wasn't going to go to the hospital anyway. On the other hand, they probably would have put me on a list and forced me to do contact tracing. It's a lose-lose situation. I ended up not getting tested.

There was a glitch in the database when I posted, I guess. Something froze, and then it went through. I saw i had 2 identical posts (same exact content as seal20). I deleted my dupe post and finished editing my other post. Maybe seal20 was trying to post something at the same time, either in this thread or in another thread, and stuff got crossed up.
