My dad told me he never really got over Pearl Harbor. It shook him to his core. He enlisted in the navy the next day and served to 1945.
Sharing some time with him after 911 we agreed it was similar. I felt the same problems and it bothered me that my wife (at the time) as oh hum about it. To me it was a big deal.
Dad wasn't around when Covid came along. I'm guessing Covid will impact some like Pearl Harbor impacted my dad, like 911 impacted me. but now I'm starting to wonder: will Covid ever end? Are we going through the rest of mankind with "covid?"
I have always thought we'd get passed this; and I'm beginning to think government likes it too much to let it go away?
