Seriously, is coughing in public a common issue? Coughing into the air with an uncovered mouth?? Who goes out sick?

In a post covid world coughing in someone's face will probably end badly for the cougher. And, it should.
It's not like we're all animals who can't stop coughing in people's faces. Masks are nothing but virtue signaling. It's not polite to wear a mask that does absolutely NOTHING. Before covid, and in the future, if I am sick I still do what I need to do. If I need to go to the store, I will. No big deal.

Masks of the type people have been wearing for the last year and a half don't protect anybody, it's bad theater.
Buy made in USA whenever possible.

I went to Costco and people were wearing masks.
          Really?
Oh my goodness. I'm sorry for your loss.
          How insignificant is that?

This past week I’ve been in New Orleans, Atlanta, and now Franklin TN. Nearly no one but restaurant and hotel workers wearing masks. Nice to be in a few states not cowering in fear. Not looking forward to going back home.

Baa Baa Baa! I think 2/3 are sheep.

Frankly it's good to know this, and we ARE in California where most people vote like idiots. So really no surprise, just sad reminder.

Granted I would venture about 10% should wear them as they probably have a legit concern still.

Too many are still wearing that is clear.

Some businesses still have signage and enforce masks.

"Yeah, like... well, I just want to slap a hippie or two. Maybe even make them get jobs."

There were posts like a year and a 1/2 ago here demonstrating the value of a mask.

They soak up some of the bigger droplets and disrupt the plume of exhale from projecting as far forward.

How any other given person is likely to feel about a mask/no mask is anyone's guess.

Human nature being what it is I suspect many people wear one out of a sense of courtesy.
What do you call the people that abandoned the agenda of John Kennedy and adopted the agenda of Lee Oswald?

                        Pronouns: "Dude" and "Playa".

Why wasn't it courteous to wear a mask until a year ago?

Before the current China virus started I would call random FOB's wearing masks in public a SARS mask.
