An article published to a "journal" founded by two people who openly admit to wanting to create an anti-vax publication.

Yeah, no bias there at all. /sarcasm

Sounds like a worthy goal to me.

what's your issue with that, are they conspiracy theorists?
What do you call the people that abandoned the agenda of John Kennedy and adopted the agenda of Lee Oswald?

      Pronouns: "Dude" and "Playa".

Do you have anything to say against the science or just ad hominem arguments?

Yeah, where's the science? All I see is fear-peddling "What if-isms" and no actual tests.

As for the "Mad Cow" idea. It's based on a "glycine zipper" hypothesis, which is dumb since that motif is present in many non-pathogenic and ultimately necessary to life proteins. The author is quite simply a moron.

"A few bad proteins had glycine zippers so we must fear/ban all glycine zippers." Now switch that from proteins and glycine zippers to people and guns and you can see this is a knee-jerk reaction like any moron gun-grabber exercises in failed logic.

The risk is unlikely. Your body produces misfolded proteins all the time, and they don't cause any problem. Your body just ignores them or filters them out naturally. The prion problem is when one is created just right that your body instead just does out of control replication of the bad protein and can't get rid of it. That's like lottery ticket level odds.

It's like if you opened notepad at your computer, and accidentally write yourself a computer virus while just typing random gibberish. Technically possible, but implausible.

Everyone on Calguns keeps talking about TDS. I never knew we had so many fish keepers!

The TDS on my 10gallon tanks 110ppm
The TDS on my 29 gallon tank is 150ppm (due to substrate)

COVID-19 is actually the result of an bioweapons attack released
in part by individuals in the United States government [10,11].
Such a theory is not far fetched given that the 2001 anthrax attack
in the US originated at Fort Detrick, a US army bioweapon facility.
Because the FBI’s anthrax investigation was closed against the
advice of the lead FBI agent in the case, there are likely conspirators
still working in the US government.

                That's CCP propaganda.

Possibly but I subscribe to a theory very close to that one myself.

As I understand the potential problem of spike protein replication any claims of Mad Cow or any specific malady smack of disinformation or a distraction but for another reason than you suggest.

The scope of the problem would be that the runaway spike protein replication could manifest in ANY organ where there are receptors it could dock to.

As a conspiracy theorist it's my opinion that much speculation on these issues falls short for having the limitation of a dem/repub or international government filter.

I posit that China and Russia have just the same sort of division that we here in the US do.

                Putin is our ally,
the scope is global and the contest is good v evil.
