Anyone experience A-Fib troubles after Pfizer Vaccine?

I haven't gotten vaccinated yet and was leaning towards Pfizer. My Doc mentioned she had a few patients with A-Fib troubles after Pfizer when they never had A-Fib before. Anyone experienced any troubles? I have occasional episodes of A-Fib but have not had one in 2 years. I don't want to aggravate anything if not necessary. Thanks, c good

It's the other way around. Serious episodes are reported regardless of whether a link to vaccination is known or suspected.

Looking at those reports, there are a few hundred (out of ~100M) reports of atrial fibrillation or related complaints. The risk is not zero but probably quite small. If you go to be vaccinated, you will be asked for pertinent medical history and you should volunteer that, just in case.

For what it's worth, my father has serious health issues including a history of atrial fibrillation, but he experienced almost no side effects from either dose of Moderna. Don't know anyone with Afib who's had Pfizer.

There are 213 reports on VAERS with regard to Pfizer. You should talk to your doctor about it. Especially if you are taking blood thinners

I hung out with my cousin a bit yesterday and a couple of parents of people in his circle of friends died prematurely.

I'd strongly recommend the vaccine. How have you tolerated past vaccines? If you can handle a flu vaccine or other ones without significant side effects, you won't even notice this except for maybe a sore shoulder for a few days.

I've never had a flu shot. Why would I get a covid shot? It doesn't even work.
