This should not be mandated, unlike the other vaccinations children are already required to get. The reason being, COVID-19 vaccinations were only approved by the FDA on an emergency basis. Once that emergency basis has been removed and the vaccine is approved by the same manner all other vaccine are approved, then we (parents and schools) can talk about it being required for children of age to be required to get the vaccine. At this point, forced compliance will only result in wasted taxpayer money via lawsuits the schools, et al, will lose. It's the same basis as the military-forced anthrax vaccine lawsuits about 15-20 years ago. The government lost big back then, and you could see it now by how they didn't force any servicemembers to get the vaccine, but strongly encouraged and incentivized them. The schools could try the same thing, but the legal precedent for forced compliance has already been set against the schools.

If my college age son is to resume in-class instruction and will be mixing it up with other students in a high density environment
that is characteristic of a public university campus, I support this one mandate for this one particular population group for this
one time for this one unique Covid-19 circumstance. In my opinion, something has just got to give somewhere to get the educational
environment stabilized to return to class.

For now. As our big corps embrace communism expect them to act as a defacto arm of the government and refuse to do business with the unvaccinated. The commies have figured out how to skirt the constitution, don't make the government curtail free speech, make the social media platforms curtail free speech and pretend it's not because they are acting as a defacto arm of the government who has been pressuring them to curtail free speech. They'll use big corps for a similar purpose WRT vaccinations. Totalitarianism is totalitarianism regardless of if the government is the main cause or not.

Clearly there is a percentage of Calgunners unwilling to get the vaccine. Same thing is true across the land. Most Calgunners believe in the right to own a weapon. Many across the country feel the same way. But what if "government" tells us that's not so. "As good citizens we need to get our shots and give up our guns." All for the good of the country ... or so they say.

Somebody mentioned CSU...CSU Fresno? I got valley fever first semester, it was life threatening to me as 21 YO. Second semester I dodged the herpes bullet. Gotta keep things in perspective. Worry about alcohol poisoning, meningitis and the clap. Covid is a very low priority threat for a college student.
