The Democrats have rid the world of the flu! Cases in the US are at a historical low. Let us all bow down to the Left for saving us.

Stands to reason that the infectious rate of any communicable disease would decrease when most of the population is locked away in their homes. I bet the clap is at an all time low too.

Not saying I agree with these ridiculous lockdowns. Just pointing out the obvious.

Places like Florida and Sweden suggest the draconian measures had no significant effect.

It would have gone away no matter what we did, like every other virus outbreak in history. I maintain it would have happened faster. I also maintain that the number of deaths has been wildly exaggerated to cultivate fear and make the sheeple more compliant.

However, This time we will have masks forever. Immunizations will be mandatory. Schools, restaurants, air travel, theaters, and others will never be the same. They have created a permanent unemployed class. They we able to turn a booming economy into a depression. They have used it an excuse to convert the US into a totalitarian socialist state.

Another effect is to have created two philosophical camps in America. One is freedom loving and one is the socialist/ marxist/ "woke" crowd. Each side hates the other. The divide among American has never been worse. This will not end well for anyone.

BTW, the graph in the OP link has been scrubbed from CDC. After the inauguration the CDC changed what was included in the weekly updates. Lot of key information is no longer presented to the public.
