NBA player has a bad time with covid

Please stay safe, however you see fit. No, I don't believe in lockdowns.

He didn’t eat or drink for 3 weeks and had headaches? Who’d a thunk it?

Me too, 102.7. Bad 3 or 4 days but I survived all while seeking zero sympathy.

I had a flu once where I really thought I was going to die. He was very similar to the above poster. It lasted for about 4 days. I just stayed in my room but the chills and the vomiting were just horrific.

Many of us have had flu like that.
Many on this forum say that it won't affect young, healthy, strong people. It can. The jury is still out on long term effects.

                  You must eat and hydrate.

Flu or not, skip food and drink for more than a couple days and you’ll feel like chit. Period.

                    Agree.
Vitamin D and zinc seem to help.
                    I wish you all health.

Is this guy a D-League player? I can’t imagine a player for the Blazers not being cared for by team doctors. I.e. extra medicine for sleep, appetite, pain etc...

No, not a D league player.

Everyone seems so concerned about it killing you. It's all that the media seems to care about. Unlike most, I don't really worry about that quite so much. If it kills you your problems are over. It's what this virus can do to you if you survive. A good amount have long lasting sequalae including mental issues. That is what worries me.

It's one thing to have some physical limitations, but if your brain gets fried that is almost worse than death.

There have been some athletes who after many months have not yet recovered to their pre covid performance level.
