I happened to be listening to KFBK out of Sacramento this afternoon when this was being discussed. Many of the homeless refuse medical treatment. They are not being tested so nobody can even make a guess at what rate they are contracting the virus.

Many do die at this time of year and their bodies are just found on the street. Since their bodies are rarely claimed and many have no IDs on them and no fingerprint records or other records to make identifying the bodies easy, they are left as John or Jane Doe and the remains cremated. Nobody misses them so it is not news.

My wife and her friend go on a daily walk and stop at a coffee shop afterwards. Their is a homeless guy that has been sitting on his bench for several months. He is seriously ill and can barely walk due to ankle problems. He refuses treatment. Last week my wife called the police to do a welfare check after noticing that he had not moved in 24 hours and the blanket he covered up with had fallen in front of his face.

He was dead and probably had died early in the morning and she called in the afternoon.
Anyone can look around and see the damage to the state and country inflicted by bad politicians.

A vote is clearly much more dangerous than a gun.

Why advocate restrictions on one right (voting) without comparable restrictions on another (self defense) (or, why not say 'Be a U.S. citizen' as the requirement for CCW)?

They probably get it and get over it, not seeking healthcare.

OR, they mostly life in solitude.

Also, when dead, they don't make the news... A homeless guy that used to come to the ER was found across the street near a dumpster,, It never makes the news.

Many researchers are already saying these is an over count of actual deaths caused by covid.
Maybe -but I'm not buying 40% - and when there was a shortage of tests , many bodies found at home etc. were not tested and it was said they were under counted.
We won't know for a couple of years -as of now the % isn't known and the numbers are just used to further an opinion

Covid response could be similar to allergies -- those kids who grow up outside getting into all sorts of dirt avoid a lifetime of allergies. Those kids who grow up in relatively sterile environments end up as lifelong allergy sufferers, their immune systems never exercised enough in their early years.

The homeless immune system doesn't get terribly worked up over a little bug like Covid -- it's seen much worse.

Being indoors all the time, breathing stale recycled air, sitting in a chair for hours on end is not exactly healthy.

L.A. Even if they catch you they let you go with no bail.

Someone should explain that recipe to Newscum, because his lockdown is the opposite of all that.

The homeless are not afraid of covid for the same reason the Amish are not afraid: No TV.

Homeless people are tough. The ones that have lived that way fore a few years. Ordinary flue does not kill them - why should covid kill them?

Have you noticed that now that everyone is afraid of covid, no one dies from ordinary flue? At least, as the official cause.

60% of Covid deaths are >75. Very few 75 year old homeless.

The homeless exercise their immune system more than the general population. I was also wondering why India doesn't have 3X the fatalities as the US given the population. But in that case, maybe other corona viruses have been going around Asia for centuries.

40% too high, not real eh ? I believe it is more like 60+ % !

Genetically, Indians are likely healthier than those from Western cultures.
