We don't know a damned thing about what the vaccines will do or not do.

It will depend on the individual and how well their immune system fights it whether from exposure or vaccine antibodies.

It depends on what day you ask Fauci.

He has no clue, so he'll probably give you a definitive answer. If you don't like the answer, ask him again in a month.

My understanding is the narrow mandate for the vaccine was to keep people from getting the disease. That's part of how it could be done so fast. Normally, all these other aspects would be checked out, are you contagious if you get the virus (there's a difference between getting infected and getting the disease), etc. Would you rather wait a few years for all those answers, or get a vaccine NOW that keeps you from getting a disease that might kill you?

The President chose that second thing.

Yes. You wont get sick with a vaccine, or maybe symptoms will be lighter. You will become a carrier, a spreader, Super spreader that will be condemend for getting the vaccine and then spreading the virus to people that have not gotten the vaccine.

No matter how you look at it, its a loosing situation.

From my basic understanding, it depends. The vaccine will prevent the virus from living and multiplying in your body, so you won't be spreading the virus from your breath or body fluid. Which basically means the mask is largely irrelevant for you.

However, you can still spread the virus if you touch a surface that has the virus on it and then touch somewhere/someone else because the antibodies won't be active on your skin.

My guess is that once you have your 2 shots, you should still wash your hands frequently and certainly keep a bottle of sanitizer handy.

The vaccine will do exactly nothing in the situation of an infected guy sneezes into his hand, pumps his gas, you pull up to the same pump and get Wuhan all over your hand, then you grab the door handle at the front door of your job at the nursing home. The door handle is still potentially going to infect the next person who touches it,then touches their mask, which they then put on their own face. Didn't matter you were vaccinated.

It is also one reason why the mask mandate was obviously thought up by complete retards. If you tell people to stop touching their face, the last thing you should do is mandate they put something on their face, since that is really no different than just touching their face in the first place.

The Moderna vaccine can see a decrease in antibodies by 50-75% within three months so the long term effectiveness of that vaccine is not well known. I haven't seen anything on the Phizer vaccine:

However, sustained antibody counts are not the case in the 56-70 and 71+ age groups. In these subsets, the neutralizing antibody counts fall anywhere between 50 and 75 percent. This suggests that in these age groups, the duration of neutralizing antibodies from the Moderna vaccine will be relatively short, potentially less than a year. That is particularly troubling as these are the age groups most affected by severe Covid-19. It may well be that the levels of antibodies after three months, if maintained, are sufficient to protect these age groups, but it is unlikely they will continue to protect if levels fall still further.

Damaged? Only 10% can have some long term effects and that could be fatigue for more than 3 weeks after recovery. Other viruses can do the same thing. And if you are going to say heart problems I will, once again, post studies showing that any virus, even the common cold, can lead to myocarditis.

I just got a positive test. I got my first symptoms on wed 12/23, so almost a week in. So far it has been comparable to a moderate head cold. In theory, I can go back to work on Jan 2.
