I'm pretty sure I got it (thanks to my dads bad choices). I'm pretty much over it except for a cough here and there but the worst part is not having any sense of smell still. I'm just getting past the 2nd week so I'm a lot better but last night I made a soup and I started cooking out garlic and onions and I could not even smell a thing which to me is crazy. I have not gotten tested but I lost my taste & smell...pretty sure I got it and my gf got it from me too. At least my taste is comming back for the most part.A guy told me one time "don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat from around the corner"

I wasn't too sure that I'd lost my sense of smell until one night I let a really big one go and woofed the covers. I couldn't smell anything. Then, a few days later I cut a nasty fart in the kitchen and woo-hoo!, I had no trouble savoring the delicious aroma. So, I'm on the mend.I'm pretty sure I got it (thanks to my dads bad choices). please provide link to studyno, recent uci study this month shows natural immunity lasts for less time than immunity with vaccine. Ive already seen cases retun after recovery with reinfection.
This risk is not just getting over it, but passing to and older significant other with co-morbidities and the newly discovered possible long term damage to hearts and lungs of some people. So they get it, get over it and in the instance of some athletes who are already have performance numbers, they never make the same numbers.Comment

If you’ve had a cold, you may be all too familiar with a stuffy nose that makes it hard to smell. In fact, both the common cold and influenza can cause temporary anosmia. Scientists have also identified a loss of taste and smell among the symptoms associated with COVID-19.
“Viruses can disrupt the nerves related to smell, and they can target the tissues in the nose,” says Elisabeth D. Ference, MD, an otolaryngologist at Keck Medicine of USC and assistant professor of clinical otolaryngology – head and neck surgery at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. “The viruses can cause inflammation, either to the nerve or to the lining of the nose, that impacts the normal function of our sense of smell.”
When smell is lost, often taste is, too. “Approximately 80% of the flavors we taste come from our sense of smell, so if our nerves related to smell are not working, then we also have an impairment in our sense of taste,” Ference explains. “Taste that is sensed on the tongue — salty, sweet, sour and bitter — will still be present. However, the subtlety of food, such as oregano on pizza, will be lost.”
Could be the common cold or influenza. Only a test can prove it's COVID, and we already know many CG'ers are not getting tested as a personal decision.Comment

I cannot find that particular interview, since it was on NPR as I was driving to work, but here's similar, stating vaccinated immunity provides longer immunity than naturally acquired coronavirus infection....

I think nobody knows for sure. Certainly NPR interviewing a University of California scientist may cherry-pick/edit the interview to support their view. There is certainly some evidence suggesting infection causes significant lasting immunityComment
