This has been said over and over - almost all cases require no hospitalization and simply rest and treatment of symptoms at home. You can look for any post of mine where I advocated for shutdowns as a solution. You won't find any. I think I've said this multiple times before. The virus does not have a 0.03% mortality rate. Teachers are indeed teaching. Whether they are teaching the way you think they ought to be is another matter, but AFAIK they are still required to meet their contractual hours. I'm curious how you are fighting for people who have suffered losses.

We're down to <1.7% ICU capacity as of this afternoon, incidentally.
Teachers are doing their jobs? LOL. No, grades are falling which, I assume, they will blame on the parents. If you are doing online courses you don't need nearly as many teachers as in person. That is the model for most "for profit" online schools. So every elementary school, every high school, and every university can have just one teacher per subject or per grade. Most teachers and professors should be on unemployment right now. If that runs out, well screw 'em just like they say to everyone else not anointed as a public sector employee. We in the private sector shouldn't be told to pay more taxes because the government chose to keep government employees on the payroll just to keep them happy while they have told us to shut down.

There's multiple CG members in this very subforum describing how desperate hospitals are to either get them to work extra shifts or steal them away outright with stupidly lucrative short term contracts. What will have to happen for you to recognize that there's a crisis going on? Blood raining from the heavens? SMH.

When this all started arena's were turned into hospitals, military hospital ships dispatched to us and preparations were made. Turns out we didn't need most of them.

Now "officials" have been warning us how bad it's going to get and ICU's will be overrun. Yet they didnt bother to do any preparation as before?

How many are in ICUs recovering from hospital procedures because the likes of many here thought it was right to sever all treatments like cancer because of the this BS flu. Why did we get rid of the hospital ship Trump sent us when the ICU hoax was laid bare for all to see. We cant use ICU hysteria when the vast majority of those ICU beds are filled with recovering surgical patients.

USS Comfort and Mercy had missions that did not include care of covid19 patients. Understandable since hospital ships are enclosed environments and if an outbreak breaks out it would be very hard to contain.

Later IIRC USS Comfort had its mission changed, about 2.5 weeks before it was ordered to return. it cared for IIRC 76 covid19 patients.

You know what the best part of not wearing a mask is? Mask freakers recoil in horror give you a wide berth..... it's almost like a Bozo Detector. The Mercy did have COVID patients sent to them. It was not planned but it happened. Still, neither ships were really required. Nor was a lot of other facilities the fed provided to the states.
