    Its mostly a good vaccine

UK reports that at least a handful of those vaccinated have come down with Bell's Palsy; I had to look that up. These little "reports" running around will shoot that shot down quicker then a "D" calling it a Trump shot.

This was seen during the trials as well. However, the incidence rate was the same as what is normally expected in the population at large. The problem with that is Bell's is usually part of the aftermath of immune response to a viral infection. Non Covid infections are way down so it makes you wonder.

At least Bells palsy is usually only transient.

^^^^ this, but for those who get stuck with it for the rest of their life, you have one side of your face sagging, for the rest of your life. Pretty debilitating.

The important thing is to be able to distinguish baseline rates from deviations from baseline rates. So far, the Bells Palsy rates are in line with population baseline rates.

Imagine a situation of a country with 10M people every single month stretching back for decades like clockwork 1000 people die.

After, the entire population is vaccinated, 1000 people die in the following month.

Would you consider that those 1000 people died of the vaccine? Any of them?

A friend of mine had Bell palsy 9 years ago and to this day his face still doesn't look right.
