The elderly, especially caucasians, are despised by today's liberals.
The sooner they all die and stop supporting our culture and our history, the better...
Putting the infected in among those with fragile immune systems is thinly veiled murder...
We haven't seen our FIL in memory care since this started. The facility has restricted access out of an abundance of caution for the residents...

I'm not clikcing a Blaze link, don't want a virus.
Are they sending post infection recovered patients post acute care that need long term care or are they sending actively infected patients as indicated by an antigen test / low cycle PCR?
BIG Difference.
BTW, sending people to SNF/LTC facilities post acute care is NORMAL and SOP.Critical Thinking Skills:

For those who having outrage reactions to this - where do you propose these post-acute COVID19 patients should go?
If their families could/take them, they wouldn't be in the nursing home.
There's no dedicated post-acute COVID19 care facility that I know of.
If they could live alone, they wouldn't be in SNF/LTC.Entreprise Arms - FFL 07 manufacturer of CA-Legal FAL type rifles in Baldwin Park, CA.

I have never had any issues from the Blaze. I have no evidence that they spread any viruses or trackers. IMHO they are one of the most patriotic websites out there. The suggestion that they are dangerous to visit is baseless. The suggestion that The Blaze will give your computer a virus is defamatory, it puts the motives and affiliations of the author on question.
Yes, I am suggesting we have trolls here who are working to further the agenda of those hostile to American interests.Last edited by Scota4570; 12-10-2020, 1:14 PM.Comment

Well, that's a fiction, so nowhere.
Plenty of voices, including mine, have been saying since January that we need to build quarantine/convalescent facilities for people to recover from COVID19 (and become non-infectious). I don't know of any that have been built for that purpose.
7 trillion dollars spent, and yet no PPE for the common man, no convalescent facilities, no inspection/certification processes for businesses to get back on their feet...

Your overarching agenda is showing again.Well, that's a fiction, so nowhere.

7 trillion dollars spent, and yet no PPE for the common man, no convalescent facilities, no inspection/certification processes for businesses to get back on their feet...

The reality is that there were facilities put up early in the year; but, most were never or only sparingly utilized. As a result, most were taken down. Just like the hospital ship sent to New York City. From 30 April...
Little-used Navy hospital ship Comfort leaves New York after treating COVID-19 patients
It's just like this thread... There are no surge hospitals
As it turns out, the 'garage' facility established for 'overflow' appears to be in use for recuperating/recovering COVID patients; at least as of this time.
Could the response and the messaging have been better and more consistent? Yes.
Was it likely to have been given the 'resistance' to anything "Trump" and the typical territorial stamping ground behaviors - from local to County to State to Federal levels?
Unfortunately, probably not. As has been pointed out to you time and again, it's unlikely you'd appreciate living in the type of 'system' that would allow for a more immediate and Draconian response.
Are there lessons which should have been learned and implemented at this point? Yes. But, that begs the question... What's the 'learning curve' when it comes to Government agencies and how do the agendas of individual politicians such as Cuomo and Newsom impact that curve? (Realizing that such agendas include 'creating' rationale for more funding, regardless of the Party of a specific Governor.)
Why would I note 'funding?' From this report... Long-term care facility in Lowell to accept COVID-19 patients as hospitalizations surge
You just 'criticized' a national level, weekly aggregate dataset for being 'outdated' rather than one which is updated... daily? hourly?
Now you want sufficient "quarantine/convalescent facilities" in every location, capable of meeting every 'surge'... realizing that the facilities and staff for those facilities, will largely sit idle between 'surges'... but lamenting how much money has already been spent... without noting the costs to individuals and communities in terms of jobs, local economies, et al.?
As I and others have told you from early on, "shutting it all down and focusing exclusively on defeating the virus" (by turning all U.S. production over to PPE, creating virus specific facilities, suspending our Constitutional system, ignoring fundamental rights, etc.) is NOT an option; philosophically or pragmatically. When you argue that's not, exactly, what you want... bear in mind, to make what you express as "should be" happen, that's what would, effectively, have to occur. Then there's the annoying reality that, even if it could be done, there's no assurance it would work out any better for everyone.Comment

ok? so you dont disagree? u just want to send them there to die, and spread?

Why do you always persist in rebutting the argument you want, instead of what is actually said? Why write all this when the original argument has nothing to do with what you expound upon, vociferously and lugubriously?
None of the things you mentioned are convalescent facilities. Not the hospital ship (which is a poor substitute for an actual hospital anyway), and certainly not garage facilities converted into covid19 wings.
Could those same facilities have been designated as convalescent facilities? sure. but that wasn't what their mission was, and no one changed their mission to take on that task.
and right now, there isn't even those facilities. so once again, where would you have them go?Entreprise Arms - FFL 07 manufacturer of CA-Legal FAL type rifles in Baldwin Park, CA.

I'm sure this was what was heard in the meeting to decide this.
Guy 1: What are we going to do with all these Covid patients?
Guy 2: Hey, ya know what? Last time we stuck them in nursing homes and killed lots of people exactly nothing happened to us. Lets do it again.I will stand for truth even if I stand alone.
