In central Europe, such winds are called Foehn Winds, and are known to cause health problems, an increase in injuries and even mental health problems. Similar winds happen all over the world in or near mountainous regions. They are also known as Ill Winds, for the problems they cause.

No one is asking you to trust China. People eagerly allowing themselves to be led around by misinformation, unverified sources, sensational stories and outright fabrications is the problem.

I remember feeling like chit for a few days in Dec. Had a cough that lasted awhile too. Then covid got me Feb 29. It was different.
