CDC doc said just that recently. In fact he said the mask would protect him better than a vaccine.

Unless we get an effective and long lasting vaccine, we will pretty much all get this sooner or later. It is unavoidable. I'm actually surprised at how long it took to get to the white house. I was expecting that to happen months ago.
The reason to try and make it later than sooner is that we are developing effective treatments.
I feel sorry for those that are governed by emotion and live in a state or perpetual fear.Comment

IIRC you are contagious for a few days prior to the onset of symptoms. That is what makes this so insidious. Mask or no mask, it is running its course.Comment
