That's a bull **** number that doesn't really mean what you think it means. Like "36k deaths caused by guns"

Wasn't it like 9% of the dead has Covid only.. the rest were REALLY old or had medical issues.

Plus the 210,000 number is BS.. I know there are many double counts and erronious "non-confirmed" counts in there.

          6%.

          So that's less than 13k

Not quite the big boogeyman the left used to shut down the economy and destroy many businesses/lives just to try to keep trump from winning. Since the impeachment didn't work, neither did the FBI investigation, nor the constant media assault.

CDC doc said just that recently. In fact he said the mask would protect him better than a vaccine.

Unless we get an effective and long lasting vaccine, we will pretty much all get this sooner or later. It is unavoidable. I'm actually surprised at how long it took to get to the white house. I was expecting that to happen months ago.

The reason to try and make it later than sooner is that we are developing effective treatments.

He's a fireman and still went to work with all those golden benefits?? Let me guess, hes saving all his accrued sick time hours to buy a 3rd or 4th home when he retires or perhaps sit at the tables gambling for a yr in Monaco?

IIRC you are contagious for a few days prior to the onset of symptoms. That is what makes this so insidious. Mask or no mask, it is running its course.

......AND FOR THE REST OF THE STORY.....

After Wednesday's hearing, Redfield took to Twitter to clarify his comments on masks and vaccines. "I 100% believe in the importance of vaccines and the importance in particular of a #COVID19 vaccine," he wrote. "A COVID-19 vaccine is the thing that will get Americans back to normal everyday life."

"The best defense we currently have against this virus are the important mitigation efforts of wearing a mask, washing your hands, social distancing and being careful about crowds," Redfield added in another tweet.
Since we do not know any of that information yet [vaccine], masks are a better solution," Goepfert told CBS News via email. "However, should a vaccine be shown to be effective, readily available, and widely distributed, it is certain that vaccination would be a much better method of controlling the pandemic just as it has for so many other infectious diseases."
The point being....context. A poor unknown (effectiveness of mask) vs an unknown (vaccine).

Remember...not to long ago....CDC said we'll open up the lockdowns possibly when a vaccine is available.

                          Sad...how soon people forget.....and 2 + 2 = 5 if you repeat it often enough.

                          When 2 + 2 = 4 becomes a revolutionary act.

6%, turn your 9 upside down. The rest were elderly with an average of 2.6 other comorbidities per the CDC.

I'd say this. Covid or not going to work sick is a dick move.
