    3D Printed Exhaust Vent Assembly - 3M 6000 Respirator

This is not for everyone, and not needed for most. Sharing only as a point of interest, not a recommendation.

In preparation for full reopening, and a line of work that may necessitate being in large, packed crowds, a friend 3D printed this for me. Elastomeric respirators are hands down the best type for me, especially since I wear glasses. However, some may feel uncomfortable about the exhaust vent. This assembly fits a p100 over the exhaust vent, basically filtering any air that goes out. P100 filtration going in, P100 filtration going out. Downside is that speech becomes completely unintelligible, but I have a thoracic microphone assembly from my CNC machine shop days, and it pairs well with this.
