More over hunterb, if people are so scared about this. Why do they still travel out of state, even if they wear a mask, to vacation or party?

Common sense would dictate they stay home just to stay safe

You're right as most people have been following common sense as people have been generally staying home and not flying. RV sales and rentals are sky high right now since no one wants to travel while sharing a seat with strangers.

For me what's silly is the idea of quarantine keeping us safe. Do you really think these COVID patients are quarantining or are they breaking quarantine and going out to WalMart and restaurants?

How else will they eat? Either them or someone exposed to them is shopping right now at your favorite grocery store.

Dude, I’m not mentally ill. I’m pissed off that I can’t just live my life. Why should I cower in fear and be told what is socially acceptable on how to be in public? Why is it ok to tell me how to live just so someone else feels safe? Why should my rights be violated for the same? Why do I have to comply with b.s. when even people who wear these masks are getting sick?

Last I checked this is America, not Communist China or Nazi Germany.

What in the world are you talking about? Who is preventing you from living your life? Are you being detained inside of your house or something? What is this "cowering in fear" all about?

Here's a case in point. This past weekend was the 4th of July. I went out with my girlfriend to the top of a hill to watch some fireworks. Then we walked around the local neighborhood to see all the stuff people were setting off in their front yards. Then we stopped at a restaurant for some chocolate malts. When we were at the restaurant, we put on our masks, out of respect for the employees who were also masked up, because we're not pieces of ****. We then took the masks off when we left with our malts and we went about our evening.

So what part of that involves "Communist china" or not being able to go out in public and live life the way I wanted? Was it the part where I respected the restaurant employees by choosing not to be a piece of ****?
