Mongolia using the same cloth masks from 1911

The first PPE masks were developed by a Malaysian-Chinese doctor in 1911 to combat the Manchurian Plague. China would then use multi wrap cloth masks effectively for decades to protect it's doctors until 2008 when n95 and KN95 became the new standard.
In Mongolia, n95s are hard to come by even in normal times. Facing an old enemy, bubonic plague, they are drawing upon the same traditional tools they've used well so many times before.
These doctors are wearing the kind of PPE developed when JMB brought his design to Colt.

The hard core anti-mask people and/or it's just like the flu people are shrinking everyday, but there is a hard core group of true believers you'll never convince.

I'm not out to convince any believers. I just want to share my knowledge, experience, and training for those who are undecided or reconsidering.

They work. I would not consider them a double edged sword with troubling properties, especially as a member of a firearm owners forum. And decent protection is quite accessible to everyone.
