    Current Monterey County covid-19 restrictions?

I want to go to the coast for a few days and I booked a room in Santa Cruz. Then I called the hotel and asked about covid restrictions and holy God are they insane! I cancelled my reservation.

I've heard Monterey county is much better, more opened up and no county wide mandatory idiot masks.

Can anybody verify this? Very much appreciated....

Most places requiring a face covrring and 6' distancing still. Don't kniw about hotels. Restaurants still doing delivery/take-out only. Lines at Costco/Home Depot/Turners etc. depending on when you go.

Maybe, the wharf is a tourist spot, I live in the area, but try to stay out of the tourist areas. My suggestion is call a coupke of places and see if they are open, and if so get here quick before everyone else figures out places are open and jams them up.

Yes the Wharf and its Restaurants are open but with seating limitations etc. This was two weekends ago when they announced moving to the next phase. I would say 60% of Restaurants were open. I'm not sure now though.

My wife and I had lunch at the wharf and headed to Cannery row for drinks at Sly Mcflys also seating limitations.

Thanks. My wife loves that damn tourist trap and the hotel is right across the street. She'll be happy while I do my business in the area.

It is better than Santa Cruz but not by much. Most hotels are closed, some restaurants open on limited seating, but most take out only. Most attractions still not opened.

Sitting in Alvarado Street Brewery drinking beer and eating food. It's just laughable that you have to wear a mask to get in then as soon as you sit down the masks come off. So retarded lol
