Yep, kind of 101 type stuff. Test/Isolate/Trace, the US response broke down at a fundamental level and had to go into mitigation. We've been reactive instead of proactive and that simply doesn't work against something that spreads easily asymptomatically.

Don't think people here will ever be happy with being traced/tracked, _especially_ with an invisible 'asymptomatic' virus. Too easy for the government to abuse such powers.

How exactly was our country supposed to be proactive against a virus that never before existed (hence the name, "novel"), from a country that lied to us or concealed nearly every detail about it, all while the WHO, which we pay dearly for their guidance on such issues, was running interference and a disinformation campaign on behalf of China the whole time?

I'd say that in light of how this went down, our Federal Government reacted unusually quickly. And even as quickly as they moved, they were badly criticized for it by the media, some saying they didn't move quickly enough, and others saying they reacted too soon.

Why aren't you lefties pissed at the CCP? Are you one of these?

Think about all the pretty files "uncle" has on everyone.

You may be a violator of some thing you never knew. So there are no new cases there. What about the peaceful protesters. Do the NSA have cell phone magnetic ink on whereabouts so if there are breakouts of the virus they can be vetted?
