Pretty sure a knee to the back of the skull for 9 minutes would also be a factor.Comment

A knee to the back of the skull would not cut off oxygen. More like a knee to the neck as well as a knee to the back from the other officer. Also comes down to how hard the pressure was to those areas.
Those officers definitely were wrong for doing what they did and not getting off him when he said he couldn't breathe. I actually feel sorry for the 2 rookies who were only on their 4th day on the job and training with a bad cop. Now their lives will be changed forever.Comment

One was on his fourth day on patrol ever, and the other was on his third shift since finishing his training year and becoming a full fledged officer.
Guess who the second officer's TO was? Chauvin also.
Fourth day on patrol and your TO says "hold his legs". And you do, and you don't do anything wrong or hurt the suspect. And you say something to your TO a couple times, asking if the suspect is ok or if you should turn him over.
And you wind up charged as an accessory?
I do feel for both those young dudes. They didn't do anything wrong and weren't aware of how much pressure Chauvin was putting on his latest victim. They were humanely restraining a non-cooperative non-combative suspect.Comment
