    Perspective During This Time

The surest way to work up a crusade in favor of some good cause is to promise people they will have a chance of maltreating someone. To be able to destroy with good conscience, to be able to behave badly and call your bad behavior 'righteous indignation' this is the height of psychological luxury, the most delicious of moral treats.

    -Aldous Huxley

"If the government can break the law during an emergency, the government will create an emergency to break the law."

Whoever wrote that is absolutely right. Unfortunately they used a one size fits all model that just screwed a large portion of the population and continues to screw them indefinitely.

Part of the problem is that those making the decisions are in the "I'm getting paid and only a little inconvenienced" boat. Those getting screwed the hardest have little or no voice.

That's the point I'm trying to make. No government handout is going to fix this either. It's like putting on a band aid after getting shot with a slug. They need to give people the option of going back to work.
