      Who is verboting it?

The CEO of youtube is Susan Wojcicki.

Are you saying that those two Doctors did not present misinformation? I would think that as_rocketman did a pretty good job at explaining what it was they presented that was false. None of it was opinion..... Look it up and see for yourself.

Most of us would love to believe what they are saying is true. But they based their presentation on some shoddy "data". No amount of hoping and wanting is going to change that.

It might very well turn out to be a lot like what they are claiming... Who knows?? But they are using bad methods to come to their conclusions. So there is that.

Nonsense. I don't know how effective the shelter-in-place measures are, but there can be ZERO doubt that great effort has been spent to make it happen. Just look around you.

Your choice. I don't argue from my credentials either. Nor do I have to. The problems with the "extrapolation" in the video should be apparent to any competent high school graduate.

I'm not arguing to my opinions. The ER doctors in question misapplied their principle of "extrapolation" and wound up with an estimate of IFR that is provably inconsistent with all data we have on the subject. That is, indeed, a fact.

Speaking up against the Covid Shutdown is Verboten!

This thread is becoming a microcosm of why polarization of belief is inevitable online, even in the face of verifiable facts and people trying to bring them back into the discussion.

I've lost hope in expecting anyone to be reasonable online, the medium only serves people who want to actively ignore information which doesn't fit their preconceptions.

So the 'experts' (including those here on CGN) always get suckered into chasing details that don't matter much in the end. Such as the numerator, the denominator, the exponent, who has what degree, who does what for a living, for how many years, what department they lead, who appointment them, how many administrations they have served with, etc etc etc.

The real point is this: Who gets to decide what 'facts' we are working with?

Is this a fact? (from the esteemed Dr Fauci)

'Experts' were probably lining up to support that assertion, everyone waving their expen$ive degrees and credentials, how 'scientific' the extrapolations, models and studies must be!

And now we know it's total crap. Oh it's not because of the Social Distancing, the shutting down of schools & restaurants. And why? Because Sweden hardly did any of that any this bug is no worse than the flu over there. (Do they wash their hands more? They know to stay home when they are sick? Maybe so.) Did everyone South Dakota die? No lockdown there.

I'd rather listen to reports from anyone who is on the ground like the various medical whistle-blowers.

Why isn't google censoring every word from Fauci's mouth when one could easily demonstrate with real world data that he's pulling things out of his rectum?

(And of course: even that real world data is tainted since hospitals get cash for reporting covid cases, covid deaths and especially covid on a respirator)

It says in block letters, "worst case estimates."

Why are you complaining that the worst-case assumptions are not consistent with real world?

Because the worst-case estimates are what drove the decisions to lock down.

Would you like it if you car told you it was over heating even though everything was fine?
