Hello, do any stores not require masks to go inside? It could be up to each individual store in a chain as well, just wondering in general have you seen any without the requirement?

Which stores do not require masks?

I believe its based on County. I live in Orange County and EVERY store I walk into says "Required" or "Recommended" and I continue to shop w/ out one.
Im talking chains like: Costco, Home Depot, Pep Boys, Lowes, Subway, etc. I haven't been told to cover up or leave. But, again, I don't live in a required county like LA or Riverside. My wife went into Sprouts this weekend (The most liberal store around) and she was the only one w/out and they didn't say anything to her.
I am on the belief that if my county doesn't mandate it, Im not wearing it. However, once they mandate it (Which I doubt at this point) I will just stop shopping as I am not wearing a Bright Yellow Star of David across my chest so the Nazis can identify me. Oh wait, that was another communist regime enforcing uniforms to its civilians. My bad!sigpicComment

Not quite. They cannot require you to wear a mask to leave your home. But they did say you need to wear one in public if you are likely to be within six feet of other people. I am not wearing a mask, and I won't go walking through crowds of people.Where the people fear the government you have tyranny. Where the government fears the people you have liberty.

Unaware of any particular store or chain able to ignore city, county or state regulations. So if you're not in an area with mask requirements to enter stores it's probably easier to list the ones who require it anyway, if you're in an area where health regs mandate them any store not enforcing that may get fined (as well as the shoppers inside).Comment

Correct but how do you know when you might encounter someone walking the other direction? You cant see around corners.
Im half joking of course but that single paddle boarder was arrested. Do you think some power tripping cop might get a kick out of hassling someone without a mask? These are strange times.
Im with you tho, I respect property rights and if they want me masked to enter I will comply or not go in. But when outside on public property I wont be masked. On the upside, with my luck, Ill be the guy you hear about being arrested and labelled an "anti-masker" or "mask denier" so you wont have to read the nonsense Ipost here.

We never know... that's why the law is dumb. They know they can't require us to wear a mask to step outside of our homes so they add in "If you might possibly be near some people". We can't really know, so I will just be reasonable, I won't go to some crowded place without a mask on but if I am walking around the block or hiking I should be able to get six feet away from people in time!Correct but how do you know when you might encounter someone walking the other direction? Yup, sensible choices are fine. Mandates are not.We never know... that's why the law is dumb. What if I have asthma and the mask makes it hard to breath? Could that make mask enforcement a violation of the ADA?
